‘Resting Comfortably’

Lina is home and back in our bedroom.

She finally arrived at 7:30 pm last night after a 100-mile ambulance ride from Boston. She’s in a ‘rent-a-hospital-bed’ facing the ocean. Chloe bought a large bouquet of Lina’s favorite flowers for her bedside – gladiolas.

Lina hasn’t opened her eyes or been responsive to us since she’s been home. We all talk to her and hope she can hear us and the outside sounds of the crashing surf.

Our wide circle of friends have surrounded us with loads of love, too much food and wonderful flowers. Thanks so much!

The hospice nurses are wonderful and on our case.

We’ll try to keep you all updated,

Much love,
Chloe, Moriah and Craig

    Craig, Chloe and Moriah,
So glad Lina is home breathing ocean air, and in the presence of loved ones. Please let me know if I can come take a turn at absolutely anything that needs to be done; I’m easily able to get away from Manchester now. I would be honored to help you all and Lina.
    love

I love thinking of Lina in her beautiful bedroom instead of the hospital room, surrounded by all of you and finally having windows with a view, which I hope she gets to take in again. It’s wonderful for you to keep us up to date with this webpage; it keeps Lina clear for all of us.

    Love, Moie

    Dear Craig, Chloe and Moriah,

I’m an old friend of Eileen Prince’s, and I remember meeting Lina once many years ago in New Orleans. I have followed the story of her incredible life through Eileen all these years, and I am writing now to give you my love and support. Lina is just where she needs to be–at home with all of you giving her all the love you have.
Please know that all of you are in my heart and my prayers. Be strong and keep loving each other. Your Lina doesn’t want to leave you, but she is at peace and she will always be with you. Blessings–Janis

    Hello to all,
I too, am glad that Lina is home and is surrounded by the love and friendships that have been with her on this challenging journey. We have all shared so much, learning through her strength and determination during these past three years. I wish only love to Chloe, Moriah, Craig and the rest of the family as Lina moves forward on her journey.

Speak softly to her, for on some level she can hear the words of love and and feel the devotion of her family. The touch of your hands, the sweet smell of the flowers, and the sounds of the ocean will calm her and bring peace to her.

    My love to my friend….
    Joyce
