Lina, for me is the person, who quietly and with great determination and creativity, made things happen. When there was inadequate daycare in Kentucky she led the movement to create a Montessori school. When we were overwhelmed by work, she organized us to get it done. Lina set a powerful example of someone who refused to get bogged down with what was wrong, but had the vision, spirit, and will to create something new. She was a wonderful colleague and friend and an inspiring mother. I have only recently found her blog, but am so moved by Lina’s courage and the closeness of your family and friends. I will cherish her memory and continue to gain strength from her creative force.
